We are a medium‐sized road transport company operating nationally with an established and growing fleet. We are seeking a full time Admin HR Training Officer to join our team who will continue to support and develop onboarding processes and administration training for drivers, staff and sub‐contractors.
About the Role
Working closely with drivers, operations and management, the role will assist in maintaining systems that support safe, compliant and efficient transport operations. This is a practical, hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working across different parts of the business and learning how transport operations function.
Key Responsibilities
* Driver Inductions and administration training
* Sub‐contractor on‐boarding and administration training
* Maintain records, registers and controlled documents
* Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
* Produce and maintain internal Non‐conformance reports
* Provide NHVR with any requested documentation for Notice to Produce letters
* Support WHS processes and training records
* Work closely with drivers, operations and management teams to ensure compliance requirements are met
* Assist with documentation for audits and customer compliance reviews
About You
* Have an interest in the road transport and logistics industry
* Background in HR, training, administration, operations, safety or logistics is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, operational environment
* Able to communicate with drivers, contractors and managers
* Heavy transport experience is favourable but not essential
