**About the role**:
We are seeking an Innovation and Product Development Manager to develop and implement the value-add business plan for the DON Fresh department. Based in McLaren Vale, this role will manage new product development, ensuring the value-add product range is relevant and maximise opportunities. You will also develop marketing strategies for Fresh to support the execution of strategic business plans
**Responsibilities**:
- Development and execution of the fresh value-added business plan
- Develop new value add projects from concept to launch for all lines of business
- Accurate costing and forecasting of Fresh Value Add projects
- Develop commercially viable, secure and smooth process for new product creation
- Promotion of products and brand: events, merchandising, instore demos and secure catalogue presence nationally.
- Drive and approve Social Media activity and content.

**About you**:
- Tertiary Qualification in Sales, Marketing or a related discipline desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of fresh pork production and carcasse utilisation desirable
- Thorough understanding of the dynamics of the retail fresh meat industry
- Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to work under pressure in challenging environments
- Questions and challenges thinking and decisions where appropriate
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Highly motivated and results oriented
- Has ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
