About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Store Supervisor to join our friendly team at French's IGA Youngtown in Launceston, Tasmania. This is a full-time, 38 hour position.
What you'll be doing
* Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their shopping needs
* Maintaining store displays and shelves to ensure a neat and organised retail environment
* Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
* Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth store operations
* Adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a grocery or supermarket environment
* Expertise in stock management, merchandising, and maintaining high presentation standards
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and colleagues
* Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, public holidays and store closing shifts.
