A government agency is transitioning its ICT services from an internal model to a shared services arrangement with another department. They are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead this transition and provide strategic and operational support to the in-house ICT team.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery capabilities within a Federal Government context.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals
* Lead the transition of ICT services, ensuring continuity, value for money, and fit-for-purpose outcomes
* Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
* Collaborate across business units to understand and deliver on technology needs
* Build and manage relationships between departments, including contract negotiation
* Oversee ICT operations, including team leadership, budget oversight, and resource management
* Ensure system security, reliability, and risk mitigation strategies are in place
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
