About the Role
The IT Support Engineer is a key member of our MSP team. You'll act as the technical escalation point for complex client issues, lead by example, mentor junior staff, and deliver exceptional client service. This role requires a hands-on, customer-focused professional with proven experience across networks, servers, Microsoft Cloud, and modern telephony solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Escalated & Frontline Support – Resolve Tier 1,2 & 3 incidents and service requests efficiently.
* Ticket Management – Manage support tickets with timely updates and accurate documentation.
* Client Engagement – Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
* Mentorship & Training – Guide and upskill junior consultants and new starters.
* Communication – Collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
* Proactive Maintenance – Assist with monitoring, patching, and preventive issue resolution.

* Networking – LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs
* Desktops & Endpoints – Windows 10/11, peripherals, remote tools
* Servers – Windows Server (2012–2019+), Active Directory, Group Policy
* Microsoft Cloud – Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Azure AD
* Telephony – 3CX, Teams Calling, VoIP
* ISP Services – Internet troubleshooting, DNS, DHCP, connectivity

What We're Looking For
* 2+ years' experience in an MSP or systems support role
* Proven success resolving advanced IT issues
* Experience with Autotask (ideal, but not essential)
* Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms
* Ability to mentor and support junior technical staff
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong client management and customer service skills
* Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) highly regarded
