Seeking Mechanical/Maintenance Fitters to join their progressive and innovative teams
Key Responsibilities Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Maintain equipment functionality to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
Perform regular inspections and service routines; implement planned maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with workshop staff and operational teams to support production goals.
Maintain accurate logbooks and maintenance documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Assist with installation of new systems and equipment upgrades, including digital monitoring or automation enhancements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost reliability, efficiency, and system longevity.
Qualifications Experience Trade-qualified (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter) with a strong record in industrial maintenance.
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics and system repair.
Familiarity with safety practices, and regulatory compliance in food production environments.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
