As a seasoned project leader, you will oversee the delivery of complex acquisition and sustainment activities across heavy armoured vehicle fleets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project schedules, risk registers, and performance baselines to achieve agreed milestones.
* Provide project management and commercial expertise in the development of acquisition strategies, tender evaluations, contract negotiations, and performance management of industry partners.
* Capture Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, including stakeholder engagement with government entities, OEMs, and compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations.
* Maintain seamless integration of project management activities with engineering, ILS, and sustainment functions to deliver coherent capability outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrated Defence project management experience within government frameworks or related environments.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience applying procurement contracting frameworks, drafting contractual documentation, and leading evaluation processes.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Engineering, or Project Management.
* Familiarity with Defence Capability Life Cycle and acquisition governance requirements.
* Experience working on international programmes highly desirable.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to collaborate across departments and external stakeholders.
* Current or ability to obtain security clearance.
* Project Management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) highly regarded.
