About the Role
This Level 3 Social Work position will be an integral member of our senior social work team and, in addition to servicing the Cancer Care Unit, will be responsible for the supervision and upskilling of our Social Work team.
Working with a multidisciplinary team across hospitals, community settings, and homes, the role supports individuals and families through all stages of life.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and psychosocial support within the Cancer Care Unit
Supervise and upskill the social work team
Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, and other allied health professionals
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
Advocate for patients and families within the regional community
Qualifications
Evidence of three years' clinical experience in Social Work under the Health Professionals State Award
Australian citizen or permanent resident, or able to live and work legally in Australia
Proven ability to work in a regional community setting
