About cape

cape group (cape) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee providing services to people with a disability and is a Registered NDIS Provider.

Nadrasca joined with Brite in April 2025 to form cape group, a newly formed brand resulting from the merger of the two NDIS registered providers with a combined 120 years in operation across the eastern and northern suburbs.

Together, we provide a range of services for people with disability, including home and living supports, social and community participation activities, youth employment assistance, supported employment, and NDIS support coordination.

The Position

The Nursery Delivery Driver works closely with the Nursery Manager, Nursery Coordinator, and Nursery Supervisors to achieve delivery goals and meet customer deadlines. The role is responsible for carrying out deliveries as instructed, ensuring delivery requirements meet quality standards, maintaining safety and quality compliance, supporting supported team members with delivery tasks, and contributing to the maintenance of quality accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

•Timely and professional delivery of nursery orders, ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

•Pick up of nursery orders from suppliers to bring back to site.

•Route planning, vehicle upkeep, and delivery paperwork completion.

•Assist with general nursery operations, including stock handling and quality checks.

•Provide support and training to supported employees, ensuring safety and quality standards.

•Follow all safety, compliance, and reporting procedures, contributing to continuous improvement.

Physical Fitness Requirements

•Safely operate delivery vehicles (including MR trucks), with frequent loading/unloading.

•Lift pots and stock up to 20kg, push/pull trolleys, and work on/around truck platforms.

•Physical endurance and spatial awareness for a hands-on, active workday.

Personal Attributes

•Resilient and calm under pressure, with a positive, can-do attitude.

•Open to feedback, constructive in communication, and willing to escalate issues appropriately.

•Committed to supporting others and working as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

•Current Drivers Licence.

•Current Medium Rigid Drivers Licence.

Qualifications and Experience

•Relevant Horticultural experience (evidence of).

•Relevant delivery driving experience (evidence of).
