Job Role:
* Leads a team of Urban Planners in NSW, ensuring correct staffing levels and resourcing of projects.
Responsibilities:
* Provides professional planning advice in statutory and strategic planning.
* Contributes to multi-disciplinary project teams and works independently as a Principal planner on own projects.
* Develops and mentors junior staff.
* Prepares strategies, reports, environmental impact assessments, and other planning documentation and submissions for clients.
* Undertakes technical and quality reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team.
* Fosters client relationships and identifies business opportunities.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Demonstrated leadership experience in a consultancy environment.
* Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.
* Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
