Role Overview:
Psychiatry Registrar
This is a full-time, fixed-term position available in the Mental Health Services department.
The role involves working as an Advanced Trainee in Addiction Psychiatry through the RANZCP Advanced Training Certificate program.
* The job entails working with patients in both inpatient and outpatient clinics to meet all certificate requirements.
* Experience will be gained in a well-supported rural Australian setting.
* Opportunities exist for outpatient clinic experience in Aboriginal mental health with two Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.
* Dedicated time and opportunities are available for service development and research.
* Rural workforce incentive payment and accommodation support are also available.
* Extensive teaching opportunities will be provided in collaboration with the Monash Rural Medical School.
