Critical role in the B2B Space, working with a wide range of people at all decision‐making levels. Driving new business and keeping the existing customer base line intact.
What You Will Enjoy Doing
* Provide prompt resolution of customer issues and prevent poor customer experience through adherence to the onboarding process for new customers, maintaining correct data on existing customers and contracts.
* Maintain a strong customer relationship and manage issues to provide the best customer experience.
* Build relationships with key decision makers/stakeholders at multiple levels and provide prompt resolution of customer issues.
* Generate varied/multiple solutions to problems both internally and for the customer, and manage, review and implement changes to accounts as required based on performance.
* Develop account plans for market sector customers, understand market dynamics, pricing and negotiations. Review customer's strategies in line with changing needs to determine current and future opportunities for BOC and inform the relevant Market Segment.
* Identify and quantify growth objectives for target customers and create a strategy to capture this business against target milestones set out in the plan.
* Prospect for new customers while growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio and confidentially negotiate contract details with the help of commercial resources in a reasonable timeframe.
What Makes You Great
* You hold a tertiary qualification in an engineering, science or other related discipline.
* You have minimum 5 years in industrial gases or market sector related industry in an engineering or business development related discipline (highly desirable).
* In‐depth knowledge of customer needs and technical expertise within a market sector is required with strong negotiation skills.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills, good business and commercial acumen with strong pricing and contract management skills are needed.
* A good understanding of price management (gross margin, mark‐up, pricing and profit) is a plus and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
* You hold a clean Driver's Licence.
