Key Responsibilities
As our Restaurant Manager, you'll be the heart of daily operations, responsible for delivering a consistently outstanding customer experience and supporting the continued growth of our café.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to design seasonal menus that reflect the café’s Italian-inspired identity
- Coordinate and oversee private bookings, group functions, and special events
- Manage ordering of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure consistent stock levels and quality
- Set menu pricing based on cost analysis, market demand, and profitability goals
- Keep accurate records of inventory, expenses, and daily sales
- Ensure the venue is clean, safe, and meets all food safety and health regulations
- Lead, train, and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff to maintain high service standards
- Create and manage staff rosters to align with peak hours and operational needs
- Welcome guests, assist during busy periods, and handle any customer concerns professionally
- Monitor the quality of food and service to ensure it meets customer expectations
- Oversee takeaway and online order processes to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Support marketing efforts by helping plan promotions, events, or social media campaigns
- Build relationships with local suppliers and service providers
- Contribute to business planning, including sales targets, cost control, and growth strategies Requirement:
- Diploma of relevant qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- A passion for food, coffee, and delivering great service
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine is a bonus!
