A$77,000.00/yr - A$95,000.00/yr

The Opportunity
This role will drive sales and profitability through exceptional customer service and inventory management. Key responsibilities include analysing profit and loss reports, controlling costs, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and maintaining high standards on the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales and profitability through genuine and high standard customer service and inventory management
* Provide instructions and guidance to maintain the sales floor in high company standards
* Analyse profit and loss report with the Area Manager to create an action plan
* Control cost to achieve store's sales and budget KPIs
* Recruitment activities including shortlisting and interviewing to gain new store staff who meet company requirements
* Ensure appropriate staff levels in every area of operations, and create the staffing plan and roster schedule for store members
* Ensure that employees are trained according to the company standards
* Handle safety and crime-prevention measures according to the rules
About You
* Minimum 1-3 years of experience in store manager or supervisor experience in the retail industry
* New store opening experience is preferred
* Minimum 1 year of alteration experience, stitch are up to standards and handled in a timely manner is preferred
* 2 years of loss prevention experience, and knowledge of safety and crime-prevention measures
* Proven ability to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service
* Experience in training employees to meet company standards
* Strong leadership skills to guide and assign tasks to employees
* Experience in staffing, scheduling, and creating staff rosters
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
* Demonstrated ability to think logically and problem solve
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, public holidays and weekends
* Willing to move to other areas or stores if requested by the company
* Global viewpoint and cultural sensitivity & flexibility are a must
