We’re seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support core financial operations, maintain accurate cash management, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation.
In this role, you’ll contribute to a high‑performing finance function by delivering timely reconciliations, managing daily cash requirements, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accuracy of cash balances and complete daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
* Prepare daily cash forecasts and arrange inter‑account transfers.
* Load and authorise EFT payments for payroll and accounts payable.
* Support the Financial Reporting team to meet deadlines and deliverables.
* Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations.
* Investigate finance enquiries, resolve issues, and provide professional stakeholder support.
* Prepare journals, reports, and documentation as required.
* Provide relief support to other Finance Officers as needed.
About You
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Finance Officer role.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and customer‑service capability.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to learn finance systems quickly.
* Excellent communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
* Certificate IV in Business or progress toward a business‑related degree.
* Ability to work across multiple sites as required; QLD C‑Class licence.
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
