will be accountable for maximizing the reliability and availability of rotating and mechanical equipment onsite, through condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, equipment evaluation and fault mitigation, to ensure the organisation achieves its objective to produce the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world. Responsibilities
Implementing and managing the site’s reliability centred maintenance program for all rotating and mechanical equipment. Developing and optimising condition monitoring and preventive maintenance strategies. Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant. Evaluating equipment performance, damage and failure rates. Performing root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations. Engineering solutions to address equipment failure, malfunction or changed performance. Liaising with OEMs and external contractors regarding equipment upgrades and modifications. Preparing detailed work instructions for corrective maintenance activities. Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering. Assisting in the development of Mechanical Engineers and Maintenance Technicians. What you can bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical). 10+ years’ professional experience in a similar role. Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment within a processing plant. Experience with reliability centred maintenance methodologies. Understanding of condition monitoring methods and techniques. Experience with root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations. Good analytical skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Experience with SAP. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. We offer
