Chief financial data specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Financial Accountant to support the Financial Accounting Manager in monitoring all financial data. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial reports covering balance sheet, statement of profit & loss, and internal management reports.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to tax compliance by ensuring all submissions are accurate and punctual. They will also manage the timely submission of both internal and external audit requirements in accordance with relevant schedules.

* Accuracy and timeliness of monthly journals and accrual entries.
* General ledger management and timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
* Tax contributions for Monthly Payroll Tax, Quarterly BAS, Annual FBT Returns, Annual Tax Returns, and other ad hoc tax requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
* Strong stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong Excel skills.
* CPA qualification preferred or progressing towards.
