We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Workers to join our team, providing essential support services within the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) framework across the Central Goldfields and Pyrenees regions.
Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly and vulnerable community members by delivering high-quality home care services that enable clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance including hygiene supportDeliver domestic assistance services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and shopping supportOffer companionship and social support to reduce isolation and promote wellbeingMaintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with CHSP requirementsCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionalsAdhere to all safety protocols and infection control proceduresParticipate in ongoing professional development and training programs
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualificationValid driver's license and reliable vehicleNational Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check (willingness to obtain)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyPhysical capability to perform manual handling tasks in line with domestic and personal care
Working Conditions
This position requires travel throughout the Central Goldfields and Pyrenees regions, with services delivered primarily in clients' homes and community settings. Work schedules may include public holidays, with shift patterns designed to meet client needs while maintaining reasonable work-life balance for staff members.
