This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026.

The Role
Darling Range SC, an Independent Public School, is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher who can inspire students to engage in curriculum, strive for excellence and be proactive in improving student outcomes.
The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide students with high-quality curriculum delivery and programs within the Maths learning area.
The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience as a teacher in the Senior School. They should demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in applying strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. Experience in teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Maths courses including Methods and Specialist would be advantageous.
A major focus of the College is the implementation of Explicit Instruction (EI) across learning areas. Experience using EI is not a prerequisite, but the successful applicant should display a willingness to incorporate this into teaching practice. Knowledge or completion of Classroom Management Strategies (CMS) and Instructional Strategies (IS) workshops would be highly desirable.
