The GV Health Finance Department provides a range of financial services and support to GV Health and its associated entities.
The Aged Care Finance Coordinator works under the supervision of the Manager Financial Services to help achieve the objectives of the Finance Department. The Aged Care Finance Coordinator is a specialised role, working in collaboration with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that the financial and legislative requirements and guidelines, as stipulated by GV Health's Standard Work Practices and by relevant external Government bodies, are achieved.
Qualifications
Nationally recognised qualification in Business Administration/Accounting, or several years of relevant financial administrative experience with a demonstrated knowledge in accounting principles
Competent knowledge of the relevant aspects of the Aged Care Act pertaining to financial management in Residential Aged Care
Highly developed written and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work as a cooperative team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads to achieve and adhere to strict deadlines
Demonstrated experience with data management systems with a high level of computer literacy skills
