We have an exciting opportunity for a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, passionate, and supportive Occupational Therapy team at West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG).
This fixed-term position offers the chance to rotate through acute inpatient units, providing a broad and rewarding clinical experience. Part time and new graduate applicants encouraged to apply.
Our department delivers services across a wide range of areas, including:
* Acute and subacute inpatient care
* Community Rehabilitation
* Aged Care
* Outpatient services (Paediatric and Home Visits)
The team includes Grade 3, Grade 2, and Grade 1 Occupational Therapists, supported by skilled Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) and a broader multidisciplinary Allied Health team.

Who Should Apply
We welcome applications from recent graduates and early-career therapists seeking to develop their clinical skills in a nurturing and collaborative setting.
Our preferred candidates will have:
* Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - Occupational Therapy Board.
* Membership of the Australian Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
* A high level of theoretical and practical clinical knowledge in Occupational Therapy practice.
* Excellent communication (both verbal & written) skills.
* The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
