Your new role
As an Electrical Engineer specialising in switchboard design and commissioning, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality engineered solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working within a collaborative multi‑disciplinary team, you will:
* Develop electrical designs for custom and modular switchboards and switch rooms
* Support Project Managers with technical documentation and coordination
* Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and equipment
* Provide workshop support by resolving technical queries
* Manage your work within approved budgets and schedules
* Ensure compliance with relevant electrical safety standards, legislation, and company policies
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this position, you will bring:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience in switchboard drawings, custom and modular switchboards and switchrooms
* Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical legislation, including AS3000, AS 61439, and AS2067
* Proficiency in AutoCAD
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multi‑disciplinary environment
