Your New Role
Sitting within the Digital Marketing team, the UX Designer leads the strategy behind exceptional, industry‐leading user experiences across Sydney Opera House's marketing channels. The role transforms complex user insights into intuitive digital journeys, collaborating with cross‐functional teams to deliver user‐centric solutions that are seamless, engaging, and continuously improving. The ideal candidate is a champion of human‐centred design, with the expertise to balance user needs against business objectives and the influence to bring stakeholders and teams along the way.
Key Skills
* 4‐6 years of experience practicing human‐centred design principles and research methodologies in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and email design projects.
* Proficiency in interface design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and experience with design token integrated workflows.
* Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and understanding of HTML/CSS.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Understanding of email marketing best practices.
