THE ROLE
PLC is seeking a full‑time ongoing Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team from the start of the 2026 school year. This is a term‑time‑only position.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will work in partnership with our Science teaching staff to provide effective learning outcomes for students across Years 7‑12, with a focus on Years 7‑10 Science. You will play a key role in providing technical and operational support to our Science staff and students, contributing to optimal teaching and learning outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
You have a minimum Diploma of Applied Science (or equivalent) or relevant experience/training in a Science laboratory setting, ideally in an educational environment.
Your effective communication skills, ability to relate positively with students and staff and your capacity for self‑direction and independent work will be essential to this role.
You demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills, a strong understanding of safety protocols and measures within a laboratory, and are able to support students and colleagues with that same level of understanding.

Employment Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per annum.
