Key Role:
* The successful applicant will be responsible for increasing exposure and enhancing the reputation of our organisation through coordinated internal and external communication activities.
About the Position
* Develop and distribute engaging internal communications to staff across a range of delivery platforms;
* Contribute collaboratively to a media and communications calendar ensuring the coordinated promotion of campaigns, announcements and events;
* Build and maintain productive internal and external stakeholder/media relationships;
* Provide event support to the Strategic Communication Manager.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated media and communications experience which includes writing and editing media releases, news stories, EDMs, corporate documents and digital content including spelling, grammar, punctuation, 'plain English', tone and brand style;
* Organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, collate material from several sources and produce a range of content within competing deadlines;
* Ability to work as part of a team, build relationships and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders;
* Experience in proactive and reactive media;
* Communication and presentation skills with some experience in social media, photography and video production.
