- **Position**: Central Specimen Reception Team Leader
- **Hours per week**: (38+ADO) 40 hours per week
- **Employment Status**:Permanent Full Time
- This is a key role that works closely with the CSR Supervisor and Pre-Analytical Services Manager with varied responsibilities including the following:
- Responsible of the quality and timeliness of the CSR processes of reception registration and specimen preparation
- Provide training and support to CSR team members
- Assist in rostering and co-ordinating the team across the central specimen reception department
- Maintaining a high performing team through achieving KPI targets
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance in related procedures
- Provide direction and support to CSR team members across the network
**To be successful for this role you must demonstrate**:
- Previous experience in pathology
- Previous experience leading and training teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change with exceptional organisation skills
- Experience with laboratory information systems and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge and compliance to NATA and NPAAC standards
