Job Description
This position requires a Senior Palliative Care Occupational Therapist to provide senior clinical leadership within the Allied Health Palliative care service. Key responsibilities include optimizing patient care delivery, mentoring, and staff development.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary palliative care team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop quality improvement initiatives and evaluate occupational therapy services for palliative care patients.
* Patient Caseload: Manage a clinical caseload of patients across the lifespan with complex needs nearing end of life, in the community or as inpatients.

The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, be eligible for AHPRA registration, and have at least 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience.
* Requirements: Evidence of advanced clinical skills and experience in occupational therapy for palliative care clients, excellent negotiation and decision-making skills, and ability to lead and manage autonomously.
