We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join a leading commercial construction team in Adelaide. This role is ideal for a safety professional with strong site experience, particularly in overseeing high-risk activities. About the Role You will be an integral part of the site team, responsible for promoting and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols across the project. Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Supervisors, you'll provide guidance and leadership on all matters related to health, safety, and environment. Key Responsibilities Support and monitor daily site safety practices Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and SWMS reviews Oversee high-risk activities, including mobile plant movements and lifting operations Carry out site inspections, audits, and incident investigations Work closely with subcontractors and staff to ensure best safety practices Maintain accurate safety records and documentation About You Previous experience as a Safety Officer on commercial construction sites Strong understanding of mobile plant, lifting operations, and high-risk work environments Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum) Construction White Card High-risk licenses and additional safety qualifications are advantageous Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude What's on Offer Full-time, long-term opportunity based in Adelaide Work on high-profile construction projects Supportive team culture and established safety systems In the past 5 years we have been extremely humbled to have placed over 16,000 people into meaningful employment.
