With a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, and multi-residential sectors, they offer a stable and supportive setting where safety is a core value. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a site-based Safety Advisor to support their operations across the Toowoomba and surrounding regions.
Your new role
As the Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for driving WHS compliance and culture across multiple active sites. You'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure best practice safety standards are upheld throughout all phases of construction.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Implement and monitor WHS policies and procedures
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety training
- Investigate incidents and provide recommendations
- Support project teams with safety documentation and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- 3–5 years' experience in a Safety Advisor role within commercial or industrial construction
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and construction site safety practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Cert IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel for short periods as required
