Job Opportunity: Document Manager
Location: Hybrid Office
Duration: Contract until December 2025 - likely to extend
We are seeking a Document Manager with experience in SmartPlant and strong background in information and document management. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, availability, and compliance of engineering and design documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and control technical documentation and information systems.
* Prioritise and complete scheduled tasks efficiently to meet team and departmental goals.
* Work closely with engineers, ESPs, and maintenance teams to ensure accurate and efficient document flow.
* Support continuous improvement of document control processes.
* Liaise with line managers to forecast workloads, report progress, and contribute to performance reviews.
* Promote adherence to change management and Blueprint review processes.
* Ensure all design data is captured, registered, and maintained according to site standards.
* Maintain confidentiality and protect vendor-supplied information.
* Complete mandatory training within required timeframes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* SmartPlant experience is essential
* Aconex experience is highly desirable
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* Proactive and organised with attention to detail
Support a major resource operation with a key role in documentation control and project success.
