Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Head Pastry Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional fine dining experiences for our residents. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing pastry menus that showcase your creativity and flair.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day production in the kitchen
* Plan and deliver pastry menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and excellent food safety practices
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in high-volume cooking environments, including fine dining, hotels, healthcare, and similar settings
* Excellent knowledge of food services and food safety practices
* Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide the kitchen team
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments
* National Police Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check (as required)
