Full time Security Officer role at Australia Fair. Work a 4-on-4-off rotating roster while delivering safety, support, and quality customer service.
Trident Services Australia is seeking an experienced and licensed Full-Time Security Officer to join our dedicated team at Australia Fair Shopping Centre. This position offers a stable rotating roster and the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and customer-focused environment.
Rotating roster 4 days on, 4 days off — working 12-hour shifts:
- 2 day shifts: 6:00am-6:00pm
- 2 night shifts: 6:00pm-6:00am
- Followed by 4 consecutive days off
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering professional, friendly front-line customer service
- Responding to incidents including medical, emergency, and security events
- Monitoring safety risks and reporting hazards or suspicious behaviour
- Supporting centre operations through crowd management and de-escalation
- Assisting with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols
What you’ll need:
- Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control function
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
- High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
