Fixed-Term Contract (6 months, commencing January 2026)
PKKP Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Travel and Events Officer to join our Corporate Services team on a fixed-term basis to support business operations during a period of parental leave.
This role plays an important part in coordinating travel, accommodation, events and logistical support across the organisation, including support for meetings, on Country activities and key organisational events.
The position is offered as a six-month fixed-term contract, commencing in January 2026, with the possibility of extension, subject to operational requirements and performance.

About the role
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, the Travel and Events Officer will be responsible for:
* Coordinating staff and stakeholder travel, accommodation and transport
* Supporting the planning and delivery of internal and external events
* Liaising with internal teams, service providers and stakeholders
* Managing bookings, schedules, invoices and records accurately
* Providing responsive administrative and logistical support across Corporate Services

About you
You will bring:
* Experience in travel coordination, events support or administration
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Cultural awareness and a willingness to learn about Kurrama and Pinikura Country, culture and ways of working
* Experience working in Aboriginal organisations, regional or remote contexts is highly regarded.
