We are currently seeking **Trades Assistants** for long term opportunities and are involved with the manufacturing & assembly of the new C-series railcars. We have multiple vacancies within our Production team all based at our manufacturing facility at Bellevue to support PTA Australia's $1.6 billion, 20 year Railcar Maintenance Program.

No formal qualifications are required to apply, however some experience or exposure to this work will be required and you must have unrestricted working rights for a minimum of 2 years.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting with either the electrical manufacturing of electrical wiring harnesses or the mechanical activities relating to the assembly of the train
- Installing and assembling railway vehicle components using standard work procedures, hand & power tools
- Reading, interpreting and following plans, instructions, specifications and reports with a high attention to details and safety
- Performing all necessary inspections
- Managing time well with the ability to prioritise task
- Contributing to quality, safety and delivery processes
- Working equally well autonomously and as part of a team
- Following and role modelling safe work practices and an equitable and respectful working environment
