- Complete documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with GMP and site SOP's.
- Develop SOPs and Maintenance plans for newly installed equipment
- Support qualification of equipment during start up.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans.
- Become dedicated SME on Process and filling equipment, develop and improve existing Maintenance plans and on job training
- Fully engage with site safety requirements
- Develop FMEAs for systems
- Perform maintenance and document all activities in line with Maintenance GMP procedures
- Working in GMP areas, adherence to strict gowning and aseptic behavioural practises in the plant and clean rooms

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
As Maintenance Technician your job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Record all day to day activities and assist the maintenance supervisor to complete the daily shift report
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Process, filling, utilities, HVAC and all associated equipment within the facility, and record all corrective maintenance to the required standard to ensure the department is audit ready.
- Completion of FMEA studies for Process, filling, utilities, HVAC and all associated equipment within the facility
- Become familiar with Utilities equipment in the facility to help support when required
- Liaise with any Contractors when required to perform outsourced tasks.
- Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with company regulations.
- Work with Grifols area owners' personnel as required to facilitate Maintenance activities, using SAP PM
- Engage in Grifols CI (Continuous Improvement) program and initiate within the maintenance department a Safety Good Catch program
- Cross train with the maintenance team in B101 packaging facility and be flexible to assist in maintenance works if required in the packaging facility during your shift.
- Enter into the on call roster and perform on call duties as required.

**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Qualified Craft Technician (Electrical / Mechanical)
- 3 years working experience in industry, preferably in a Bio pharmaceutical or relevant GMP manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge with Reactor vessels, CIPs, SIPs, Ultra filtration, Pasteurisers, Aseptic filling, overwrapping, vision systems, Autoclaves ,parts washers laminar booths an advantage.
- Experience in HVAC, Purified water systems, Ozone and UV treatment, WFI generation and distribution systems, Steam boiler generation and distribution, Chemical dosing, water sample testing, Sodium hydroxide systems, Chilled water, refrigeration, cooling towers, waste water treatment an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation
- Willingness and Ability to develop a proficiency in engineering type-specific software programs and systems
- Excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and willingness to work with Manager/Supervisor to ensure the job gets completed in a compliant manner.

- Microsoft office
- Qualified Trades Technician Mechanical / electrical
- SAP Experience
- Experience in clean room environment.
- Vial / Bag filling
- Purification process equipment
