About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Administration Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team in Port Lincoln. While we ideally envision this as a full-time position, we're happy to offer flexibility for the right candidate, including part-time hours that align with school schedules.
This varied role combines administrative duties with bookkeeping tasks, offering a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team.
What You'll do:
Administration
* Prepare client meeting documents including pre-fill reports
* Manage all client data and information including scanning and saving of documents into our practice management system to ensure all information is correct
* Monitor ATO deadlines and assist with lodgments including BAS lodgments
* Coordinate appointments and meetings for Accountants and clients.
* Respond to clients on Accountants' behalf including managing FuseSign correspondence with clients
* Assist with business registrations and entity setups including applying for ABN / TFN / GST/ PAYG through the Australian Business Register
* Provide general office support including travel bookings, mail, document preparation and ordering office supplies
* Support bookkeeping tasks including tax return prep, BAS, and end-of-year workpapers
* Collaborate with other LM offices to assist with work overflow as needed

What We're Looking For:
* Certificate III in Business or Bookkeeping, or relevant experience
* Strong MS Office experience
* Highly organised with an ability to multi-task and show initiative
* Good planning and time management skills
* Excellent communication and presentation
* Interest in Accounting/Finance ideal
