About The Role

This Sydney-based VP of Business Development role will report to the Managing Director, Australia and lead new business growth across enterprise accounts. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, alliance partners, and internal delivery teams, the role will drive complex sales opportunities and help shape the local go-to-market strategy.

Duties/Key responsibilities

* Identify, develop, and close enterprise sales opportunities across Australia
* Build strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders across target organisations
* Drive strategic partnerships with AWS and Databricks to generate new business opportunities
* Lead commercial negotiations and develop outcome-based engagement models
* Support the future growth and mentoring of the local business development team

Skills and experience

* Proven track record winning new enterprise business and delivering revenue growth
* Experience within digital consulting, technology, or transformation services
* Strong understanding of AI, cloud, data platforms, and modern data stacks
* Established networks across enterprise organisations within Australia
* Commercially astute with experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations
* Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across technical and business functions
* Leadership capability with experience building high-performing teams highly regarded
