Hydraulic Hose Technician – Hydraulink Australia. Location: Mackay Branch. Job Type: Permanent - Full Time. Posted: 08/09/2025. Closing Date: 13/10/2025.
Hydraulink is seeking candidates who can use mechanical and hydraulic skills to deliver high-quality service to a diverse range of customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality multi-product install, repair and maintenance service to a diverse range of customers.
- Work on hydraulic hoses, fittings and related mechanical systems.
- Carry out technician duties as assigned at branch locations or mobile sites.
- Assist with on-call work (if you are mobile).
- Develop relationships with clients, contribute to business development and revenue growth where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Previous hydraulic hose and fitting experience (minimum 1 year).
- Ideally a qualification in an appropriate discipline such as automotive mechanics, or at least three years in a similar role (industrial sector preferred).
- The ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
- Willingness to undertake on-call work (if mobile).
- Able to troubleshoot hydraulic and related mechanical engineering problems effectively.
- Effective communicator with the confidence to deal with clients and build trusted relationships.
- Able to increase revenue through sound business development skills.
- Experience in using Pronto is a plus.
- OEM install experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Residency or valid working rights and a current driver''s license. A pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol screen) and criminal record check may form part of the recruitment process.

What we offer
- Full time work 38hrs per week Mon-Fri
- Great hourly rate up to $45 per hour dependent on experience + commission (if you are mobile)
