Role: Administration Officer

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Level: SAC Modern Award Level 3.1 – L3.4 (based on experience)

Location: Townsville

Duration: Permanent

Status: Full or Part time (dependent on the applicant)

We are seeking a friendly, mature, and organised individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Queensland Youth Services (QYS) is seeking a dedicated Office Administrator to support our Corporate Management Team across Finance, Operations, Reception, and Executive Support functions.

This is a great opportunity to work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

* Finance: Data entry in XERO, accounts payable support, timesheet validation, and payroll assistance.
* Operations: Liaising with suppliers, quote coordination, meeting agenda/minute preparation.
* CEO & Committee Support: Providing PA/admin assistance, meeting scheduling, and minute-taking.
* Reception: Greeting visitors, managing calls/emails, ordering supplies, and kitchen roster coordination.

What You'll Bring:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, XERO, and data management systems.
* Experience in finance or operations admin (or a keen willingness to learn).
* Strong organisation and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
* Blue Card & current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Desirable Qualifications:

* Degree or working towards qualification in Business or Business Administration.
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
