Melbourne Queer Film Festival is Australia's oldest and largest, not-for-profit, queer film festival attracting tens of thousands of festival-goers annually. The Festival is recognised internationally as one of the most important platforms for Queer cinema in the world and plays a vital role in providing a forum for celebration, advocacy and visibility for queer communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Reports to: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
* Working hours: 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday. Full-time hybrid role.
As the Marketing & Fundraising Manager, you'll be working in a close-knit, dynamic team, developing and delivering all marketing & communication functions for MQFF. A big focus of this role is to drive our fundraising capacity & amplify the visibility of MQFF in Melbourne and beyond, so we can continue to boldly celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community and showcase the next generation of queer filmmakers.
Day to day, you'll be generating income through corporate sponsorship procurement and philanthropic appeals, propelling ticket sales and engagement, building and maintaining the public profile and brand of MQFF; and representing the organisation to a diverse array of stakeholders.
