Senior Contracts Administrator / Senior QS – Energy Infrastructure – FIFO 19:9
Senior contractor-side commercial professional required for a live gas gathering infrastructure program in the Surat Basin.
This role is embedded within the project delivery team, managing subcontract packages, variations and EOT processes across active construction work fronts. It is not a consultancy cost planning position — this is hands-on commercial management within a site-based energy environment.
We are seeking someone confident in stakeholder engagement, commercially assertive and comfortable operating in FIFO project settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead subcontract administration across multiple construction packages
* Manage procurement and subcontract letting
* Assess and certify subcontract progress claims
* Drive variation identification, assessment and submission
* Support extension of time (EOT) processes and contractual notices
* Prepare monthly cost forecasts and cost-to-complete reporting
* Maintain commercial registers (variations, adjustments, correspondence)
* Work closely with engineers and site supervisors to capture entitlement and commercial risk
About You
* 8–15+ years' contractor-side commercial experience
* Strong background in energy, gas, pipeline or heavy civil infrastructure projects
* Proven experience managing subcontract packages independently
* Confident handling variations and EOT submissions
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capability
* Full Australian working rights (no restrictions)
