Join BMD to make a difference in communities through impactful work on complex, diverse and challenging infrastructure projects BMD Ready Trade Experience Program At BMD, we’re paving pathways for school-leavers to begin a rewarding career in the civil construction industry with a five-week program designed for you to have a go and see if it’s right for you. Skills You’ll spend the first two weeks of the BMD Ready program learning the basics of the civil construction industry as well as life skills, including: Time management Financial literacy Nutrition Workplace fitness Sleep health Interpersonal skills Personal development. After you complete your two weeks of classroom learning, you’ll be paid to spend three weeks doing practical and structured workplace learning. During these three weeks, you’ll be supported to get hands-on and see what civil construction trades actually do, as well as learn about all of the great career pathways that are available to you at BMD.
