Role Description
This is a full-time in office role for a Welder/Fabricator - Marine & Structural Steel. The position is located in Hemmant, QLD. The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for executing various welding tasks including arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding. Daily activities include fabricating and assembling structural steel and other materials as per project requirements, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
- Experience with materials and structural steel fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety
- Relevant certifications and trade qualifications are beneficial
