Lead Developer / Business Analyst
1. Salary: $105,479 - $127,621 (Plus Superannuation)

The Lead Developer / Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Online Services and leads the delivery and improvement of production services for the Intranet, Corporate site and other public-facing websites and web applications across the department.
The responsibilities of the Lead Developer/Business Analyst will include, but are not limited to:
5. Lead the team's development of and enhancement for new and existing websites and intranets on the department's CMS.
6. Work with internal business areas and website owners to understand, workshop, and refine their requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for their new and existing online services.
7. Provide mentoring, coaching and direction to other developers in the team. Work to build engagement and motivation within the team and foster a positive work culture.
8. Provide technical support to departmental staff and vendors on web related services/software by helping, advising, explaining and resolving support queries/tasks.
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
9. Demonstrated and extensive experience in website development, including Content Management Systems (Squiz Matrix an advantage), React, TailwindCSS, Storybook, and Git. Experience in setting up and maintaining Webpack and Vite projects is also required. Experience in Bootstrap, SCSS, Gulp, EJS, REST APIs, and would be well regarded.
10. An excellent understanding of the Web Development Life Cycle and Agile development method using Scrum and Kanban process frameworks, as well as website accessibility, analytics and search engine optimisation.
11. Demonstrated experience in Agile Business Analysis, such as translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, whether through stakeholder workshops or otherwise.
A relevant tertiary degree, experience with Squiz Matrix and experience working on agile website/digital projects within the Victorian Government would be well regarded.
