About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join INDUR TRADING PTY LTD' as a Retail Manager. you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store operations in our Whitfield, VIC location. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career progression.
What you'll be doing
* Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
* Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
* Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
* Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
* Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
* Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
* Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
* Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
* Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales
* Manage all day-to-day retail operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and implementing sales strategies
* Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
* Ensure the store meets all operational, health and safety, and compliance standards
* Collaborate with the Head Office team on product selection, marketing, and strategic initiatives
* Foster a positive and engaging work environment for the store team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a Retail Manager or Assistant Manager role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
* Excellent leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret and act on sales data
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
* Demonstrated experience in inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting
* A passion for the Retail & Consumer Products industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
