Job Description
About the Job:
As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for passengers, providing seamless check-in and boarding experiences. This role requires someone who can stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and deliver solutions with a positive attitude.
Your work will include:
- Assisting passengers with check-in, boarding passes, and baggage
- Providing support to passengers with special assistance needs
- Directing passengers safely to gates and boarding areas
- Handling missing baggage enquiries and basic admin tasks
- Representing the airline and Star to the highest standard
We’re looking for someone who is resilient and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a natural ability to solve problems. You’ll need to remain calm in busy situations, work well in a team, and bring a professional and empathetic approach to every interaction.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - or ability to obtain one
- Experience with Aviation/Airline industry – desirable
- A validdriverslicense to commute to work
- Ability to perform all duties at a high standard of customer service
- Caring approach to dealing with people
- Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong ability to multi-task, priorities and meet deadlines
- Customer focus to deliver exceptional service
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
