Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Representative to join our team based at our Albury or Wagga Wagga branch. This role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive sales growth across the Riverina Region NSW.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a regional growth plan that aligns with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing specific customer opportunities within the Commercial Engines, Local Government, Civil, Building and Construction industries
* Sales of Caterpillar parts and WesTrac services
* Development of specific customer opportunities and the regional growth plan
* Account Management of current customer portfolio and developing new accounts
* Actively promoting parts and service offerings in line with focused Caterpillar/WesTrac programs
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional customer service skills, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Experience in developing strategic plans and driving sales growth is highly desirable.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* A strong understanding of the Commercial Engines, Local Government, Civil, Building and Construction industries
