My client is a global business at the centre of a highly valued and stable industry. They are looking for a high-performing Finance Business Analyst to drive key transformation initiatives, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.
Role
The Finance Transformation Analyst supports global finance initiatives by analysing existing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing future-state operating models. The role involves developing process maps, assisting with ERP and automation system implementations, and coordinating data migration, testing, and training. It also includes leading cross-regional workshops to gather requirements, preparing key documentation, and supporting project delivery by tracking progress and resolving issues. Throughout, the analyst ensures close collaboration between finance, technology, and change teams while maintaining a strong focus on process efficiency, control, and scalability.
Responsibilities
* The Finance Transformation Analyst supports global finance initiatives by analysing existing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing future-state operating models.
* Develop process maps, assist with ERP and automation system implementations, and coordinate data migration, testing, and training.
* Lead cross-regional workshops to gather requirements, prepare key documentation, and support project delivery by tracking progress and resolving issues.
* Collaborate with finance, technology, and change teams to maintain a focus on process efficiency, control, and scalability.
Qualifications
* Established experience in finance transformation or as a finance BA in project environments, ideally with leadership in change management or finance operating model transitions.
* Proven track record in documenting, process mapping, re-engineering, and optimisation.
* Experience working with a complex, ideally global business.
* Working within an Agile delivery environment is highly-regarded.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
Salary & How to apply
Base pay range: A$150,000.00/yr - A$165,000.00/yr
