The position holder provides a range of administrative services to enable timely, reliable and accurate nursing recruitment services.The Senior Nursing Recruitment and Establishment Officer will work closely with the site based Nursing Workforce Managers and Director of Nursing to support day to day recruitment issues and contribute to nursing recruitment and retention strategies.The Senior Nursing Recruitment and Establishment Officer will be able to work independently within the appropriate legal, policy and procedural guidelines and make decisions within the scope of duties and set own work priorities to ensure delivery of efficient and effective client focused services.About YouWe are looking for someone who has:Experience working in a Recruitment or HR Transactional environmentThe ability to work in a high volume environment to meet strict deadlinesA great attitude with the willingness to work as part of a teamAdditional Benefits (for Eligible Employees)Salary packaging for tax savingsMeal entertainment savingsAccrued Day Off (ADO)Access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Fitness PassportPlease note that throughout the recruitment process you will be assessed with the following:Relevant administrative experience working in a Human Resources or Recruitment environment, preferably in a large complex organisation. Experience with Nursing recruitment/Human Resources is desirable.Strong customer service skills with a focussed and responsive approach to managing enquiries whilst maintaining confidentiality.Possess organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven ability to establish positive working relationships with staff at all levels and external parties.Proven ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature.Ability to manage resources to ensure the delivery of services including the review of operational systems relevant to nursing recruitment processing and on-boarding.Demonstrated ability to work independently across a variety of functions which may be complex in nature and make decisions to modify requirements according to different situations.Demonstrated proficient computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and HRIS systems.As part of your application please address the following targeted questions:Please outline your experience working within a Recruitment or Human Resources team specifically in relation to recruitment checks and onboarding of staff in a timely manner.Give an example of a time when you have needed to learn and understand a new complex system, policies, procedures and awards while using your attention to detail to ensure that they are implemented and followed appropriately.This role requires flexibility to work with the various departments within the hospital and also manage your workload in a timely fashion and with exceptional customer service.
