We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand / Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project near Townsville. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a high-profile civil construction project. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in civil construction and a proven track record in leading teams on large-scale worksites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise civil construction crews on-site
Coordinate daily site activities and ensure project timelines are met
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Monitor quality of work and provide hands-on support where needed
Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Mentor and support team members to achieve project goals
Required Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience in civil construction, particularly in leadership roles
Proven ability to lead and manage teams on infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and safety practices
Excellent communication and organisational skills
White Card and relevant tickets (e.g., Supervisors ticket, First Aid)
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
Reliable transport and willingness to work on remote sites
